NWKC

It happened.

And it's over.

Not many really knew.

lihui aptly summed it up at the end of the day: we're like leading double lives, living in two different worlds, being taken through incredulous space and time. Yet reality is we're only one being; there's only so much we can do. limitations far outweigh possibilities of achieving wad we want to do. one realm - macritchie is home, teammates are family, life is canoe. the double bus stop is like a magic transition frame, board a bus and you're whisked away to another realm - life as a daughter, a mugger with obligations to fulfil and expectations to meet. not that it's a misery dealing with the way things are at the moment; just that it seems we always leave a part of ourselves behind each time we step out of macritchie. gets spiritually draining over time to switch lives periodically. but there are ppl out there who understand. that's wad teammates are for. (:

anw am disturbed by math tutorial, no mood to start on chem ILP. series&sequences and i simply dont click and how on earth is writing a 500word essay an aspect of chemistry. then again, nothing is ever normal. so here goes, shant put off doing a recount of the eventful sunday; the sights are still lingering in my head, the sounds reverberating perpetually. in restrospect, the days leading up to NWKC feels kinda unreal now. glad the weather held steady that day, will nvr forget yimtong's words after her 1st race, the water was like glass. (: qte emotionally charged, watching teammates coming down the lanes in their respective events and a sense of pride too, being part of the whole action. oh it was bread galore, such a deletable spread on our nice little mat that the hyperactive inhabitants of the nature reserve were drawn to it. inevitably grew rather restless during the wait for our race, couldnt help feeling a teeny bit unsettled upon receiving news that there was a change in the boat that yihang and i will be using. nonetheless, big big thanks to snrs and fellow juniors who offered words of encouragement to dispel the nerves. our turn came. completing our very first race ever, the exhilaration was paramount whereas the conclusion of our event was somewhat bittersweet. still, truly an amazing, refreshing experience. (: chio frontseatter YH: so much to say goes unspoken. but i know we rode the same rollercoaster of emotions. haha i'll always remember how gleeful we were upon discovery that we were not ____ . in fact we even made it to the _____ ! =D rejoice partner and next we shall move on and achieve greater things. haha it can only get better, no looking back!

alright, behold the time. i have a date at the pull-up bar. (:
